2016-2017 Standings After Winter

Surre some schools dominate some sports, but have you ever wondered what schools are truly the most dominant over the course of 12 months? We always have.

The premise is simple. A school will receive an amount of points based on each sports season in the Corner Conference. Like a track meet, each school will accumulate points for the place they finish in after the regular season conference standings are finalized, or in the case of track, after the conference meet.

Tournaments, both conference and post season, do not count in the tabulations. Only regular season conference contests matter, except again in track where it will simply come down to the conference meet. Keeping with Corner Conference standards, end of season ties in the standings will not be broken, the points then are simply shared.

Volleyball, football, basketball, track, baseball/softball are the relevant sports. First place gets 10 points, then second gets 8, then 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Three sets of standings will be tabulated. Boys', girls' and coed.
